The Playoff Machine picks look different this week, largely because of Tony Corrente. But this week I’d like to focus on something else: Jimmy Garoppolo.
The 26-year old out of Eastern Illinois is bringing a historic franchise back to glory. Of course, because of Brian Hoyer and C. J. Beathard, that will have to wait until next year. If the Niners are smart, they’ll use their top-10 draft pick to get a running back or a defensive back. Nick Chubb or Kerryon Johnson would be ideal for Kyle Shanahan’s offense. Either way, Garoppolo will get better with each game, and so will San Fransisco.
AFC
Wild Card
Chargers @ Jags
The league’s top defense will roll into the divisional round. Phillip Rivers will be shut down by the Jags, and it’ll be a quick game in Jacksonville.
Final Score: 42-18, Jags
Ravens @ Chiefs
Alex Smith is having a great year, and Kansas City will look good. But the Baltimore are a physical team that can and will beat you. The Chiefs could win easily, but if Joe Flacco comes to play, it’s anyone’s game.
Final Score: 32-26 OT, Ravens
Divisional Round
Jags @ Steelers
Pittsburgh will welcome back Antonio Brown and behind his amazing plays, they will beat the Jags. This is a team that will do whatever it takes to beat you, and the hungry Steelers will send Jacksonville home.
Final Score: 28-20, Steelers
Ravens @ Pats
Tom Brady will work his magic and get to the AFC title game. The Pats are out of Baltimore’s league.
Final Score: 24-14, Pats

He’ll do it. Roethisberger will finally beat Brady. It’ll be close, but Pittsburgh will punch their ticket to Super Bowl 52.

Divisional Round
Saints @ Eagles
The Eagles almost lost to the Giants. Enough said.
Final Score: 42-27, Saints

It’ll be tight, but Minnesota will stay home while LA moves on to the Saints. Goff and Gurley will play well, and the Rams will be tough to beat.
Final Score: 21-17,Rams
Conference Championship
Saints @ Rams
Home field advantage will be the difference, as LA will expose New Orleans’ weaknesses and go to Minneapolis.
Final Score: 31-23, Rams
Super Bowl LII
Rams vs Steelers
The defense will shut down Goff and Pittsburgh will win the Super Bowl. In a close game, the Steelers(Antonio Brown) will pull away and win their 7th Super Bowl.

Jags are tough. Hope you are correct.
